Comodo Internet Security 4 Download

Comodo have designed our firewall and antivirus suite to protect every aspect of a PC from viruses, malware, and hackers. Too often, PC users have relied solely on a simple antivirus program, hoping that this would be enough to keep them safe. But conventional antivirus programs can only detect. They can't keep malware and viruses out, stop hackers from invading, secure wireless connections, or perform complicated PC maintenance.

Many security software companies are currently either adding sandboxing or cloud computing to their products with sandboxing probably being the more popular option for most. Sandboxing comes in very handy when trying out new software programs, executing other files that could possibly be malicious or forcing regular programs to run in the sandbox (like a web browser) so that no matter what happens during use is not affecting the rest of the operating system.

Comodo has also improved the user interface of Comodo Internet Security 4 and the usability of the security application. The number of popup alerts have for instance be reduced. Popups have been redesigned to provide the user with additional options and information. Some core modules like the antivirus engine have been improved although it is to early to say how well they fare.

Features:

• All-in-one Firewall & Antivirus
• Defends your PC from Internet attacks
• Detects and eliminates viruses
• Prevents malware from being installed
• Easy to install, configure and use
• Free to both business and home users

Download Mozilla Firefox 3.6 RC2

Mozilla released a second release candidate of Firefox 3.6, a modest upgrade that embodies Mozilla's effort to increase the frequency the open-source browser is developed.

Mike Beltzner, president of Firefox, announced second Firefox 3.6 release candidate Sunday but didn't share details. The release notes were equally mum, but the update process called the new software a "security and stability update."

The new version includes Personas to let people customize the browser's appearance; blocks third-party software from encroaching on its file system turf to increase stability; and--perhaps most significantly given the competitive threat from Google Chrome--shortens start-up time and improves responsiveness and JavaScript performance.

Mozilla has been moving to a faster release cycle for Firefox and, more recently, the Thunderbird e-mail software. With Firefox, Mozilla recently changed course to try to produce updates more often that add new features but don't disrupt interfaces or otherwise require users or Web developers to change their ways.
